Lessons from the Fall Phase Workshop

It has arrived, the final workshop in our seasonal series! Join Jade Stokes, Full Spectrum Doula & Peristeam Facilitator, for Lessons from the Fall Phase. This is the culmination of the cycle tracking wisdom shared in Lessons from the Dark Moon, the Dark Moon follow-up session on Dreams, Lessons from the Spring Phase, and Lessons from the Summer Phase.

The date of this workshop falls just one week before the October 31st-November 2nd opening, a time that is known in several cultures as a window where the veil between worlds is thin and it is easy to speak with our ancestors and the spirits. Within this 3-day period we find the Celtic holiday of Samhain, and also the Mexican holiday of Día de los Muertos which is rooted in the ancient Nahua traditions of southern North America.

Just as the Fall phase of our cycles invites us to focus our attention inward and on our communication with other realms, the Fall phase of the seasons invites us to move inward as the nights lengthen and the cold deepens toward winter. This time is for finalization, finishing our harvests, tidying up our projects and laying them to rest as we honor those who have come before and prepare to rest and celebrate the winter holidays.

This is the final opportunity of this calendar year to bring questions about cycle tracking and share how this knowledge and group has accompanied you through the past seasonal cycle. We will close with a small ritual to honor our lineage and connection to our ancestors.

Things to bring:

• A candle (one that can stand on its own)
• A journal and pen/pencil
• A cup of coffee or tea or water (whatever hits your fancy)

If you can’t make it live, the workshop will be recorded and viewable for one week after being sent out.

A NOTE ON THE SPACE:  this workshop is for anyone who menstruates, or used to menstruate, who is wanting to delve deeper into the teachings of our blood and cyclical living. This includes any gender or ethnic identity. This is NOT a space for cisgender men.
